Self-portrait has been there for years but since the advent of smart phones with cameras, "selfies' has become a virus. Their popularity is due to take self and a sense of togetherness when two, three or many adjacent face in the picture. Spontaneity is currently pushing happy, a natural expression and the ability to take a lot of pictures quickly ensure that at least one image will have all eyes open.

At least as far Gillen Cool shooting himself being angry at one of the offices in the North America region, Images depicting the expression of righteous anger span. Wide-angle lens used in smart phones for shortening exaggerate, distort facial features significantly. This distinction is important because even very small differences in facial proportions are quite visible to us. A popular saying that symmetry is absolutely true beauty. Face near the edge has stretched and planting diagonal display is hit and misses. On the other hand, expression and stories will trump image quality every time, and most people feel that slight distortion is a small price to pay for a big shoot.

Of course, there are ways to overcome this deficiency, but some sacrifices must be made. Setting the normal angle lens or telephoto bit can be set on the camera phone (before taking a picture) and the number of heads is limited to one or two. But most people probably will not make the effort or take the time to learn this technique. Better still would be to have a third person taking photos of the normal range, but then you cannot call it selfie a. It is a mystery to me why many selfie photographer holding a camera phone vertically when it is just as easy to continue horizontally creating many compositions improved when three or more faces in the picture. My biggest disappointment is that millions of little disturbed selfie portrait placed in Facebook which is intended to show the world a true representation of their faces.
